Your location was good, close to the beach. The staff was incredibly nice, amicable. The room I stayed in was relaxing and clean with kitchen.

Booked a room by the space in the units. An electric kettle, a fridge, and kitchenware were an advantage.

The hotel was BUDGET, and we got a compact room. Liked central heating, television, and a mini-refrigerator in the room. The venue was in a marvellous location near to the waters edge, tramping as well cafes and restaurants and both Waihi. Furthermore, set next to a huge lagoon.

The value for money was excellent, and the room was like a 5-star hotel with extremely comfortable beds and a clean and spacious cabin. The location was perfect, tucked away yet close enough to Waihi Beach and Bowentown. The staff treated us wonderfully, from the warm welcome to the helpful information provided.

The hotel breakfast menu could be improved by addressing the issue of the stove oven and large element not being able to be used simultaneously.

We recently stayed at a wonderful holiday park that had everything we needed for a perfect family getaway. The rooms were spacious and clean, perfect for our family of three. The hot springs were absolutely beautiful and well-maintained. The park itself was quiet and well-organized, making our stay peaceful and enjoyable. It was conveniently located close to both Waihi beach and Bowentown, allowing us to explore the area easily. We were pleasantly surprised by the Vintage Kitchen Caravan, where we enjoyed exceptional food right by the holiday park. our expectations were met and even exceeded. We highly recommend this holiday park for a fantastic family vacation.

We had a fantastic stay at a holiday park close to beautiful day walks and a stunning lagoon. The location was ideal, and we were able to easily explore the area. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. We enjoyed the hot pools and found the cabins to be tidy and modern. It was a great experience overall.

I had a wonderful time at Athenree Hot Springs & Holiday Park. The facilities were well-maintained and the staff were welcoming and accommodating. The hot pools were a great extra feature and I loved that they were emptied and refilled daily. The family-friendly atmosphere and the beautiful view of the water added to the overall relaxing experience. It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway with my family and friends. I highly recommend this holiday park.

Great accommodation with spacious chalets. The hosts are welcoming and provide everything you need for your stay, including electric blankets for the winter. The thermal hot pools are a highlight, especially the smaller, spa-like pool that is great for relaxing. The location, near the water and with easy access to kayaking and fishing, is fantastic. Plus, the games room is a great facility to have.

It would have been even better if the hot pool was open later, as it closed at 9 pm, which was too early for us to enjoy after dinner and fishing. , there were no extra activities available during our stay, which was a bit disappointing.

I always choose this place for my stay. Friendly staff helped me on my first visit. It suits me perfectly with Free parking, Outdoor dining, Fitness club, Heated swimming pool, Laundry. I'm coming back for New Year!
